January 22nd
well this week was pretty chill i was challenged to write about a miracle that happened this week! so here goes saturday night were playing fútbol and im easily the worst player once again and the elders quorum pres. the goalie of the other team (were huge homies) and this youth is the goalie of my team (damian) and im chilling there on offense like i do and damian and kicks the ball super hard toward the other goal (where i am) and i run across and jump and as im jumping past the goalie and the ball i see the ball and kick the ball (intentionally by the way) with the back of my calf and it goes past the goalie and the whole field lost there mind and then we quit about 6 minutes letter after the other team one but i had the craziest goal of the night and thats all the youth were talking about the next day at church and the elders quorum president after the match came up to me and was like hey man i thought we were friends why did you do that to me and when i made that goal he started yelling the like 2 sentences he learned on his mission in english which is are you kidding me? are you fetching kidding me and the other is are you serious which i know is like the same but he likes saying it! and then we also had this cool experience at church where this one less active who we've been reactivating brought a friend to church that we are now kinda teaching (he lives in a different zone but is always here one the weekends so we might start teaching him) and she also said that we need to baptize her daughter because she hasnt been baptized yet so that was really cool too! and then i also had to give pablo a blessing which i heard helped him a lot so that was really cool! i forgot my camera so no pics this week!
January 15th
this week was pretty chill we played some soccer and its super funny because my comp used to be a profesional soccer player in perú and but hes super humble and its crazy funny as were playing with like investigator or like the youth my comp is like playing and if were loosing and the "ref" is like okay 1 minute or like 2 minutes my comp just is like oh crap and just like will dribble the ball through everyone and just score in like 8 seconds so that we either like tie or just barely win... hes crazy good! also this week we got a refference from some other missionaries for this family from venezuela and they huge homies and have a ton of potential so please send some love to them in your prayers and speaking of prayers please pray for my companion this week! this week we also had interviews with our mission president and heres a pic that me and him snagged together and a picture from New Years so yeah thats about it!
January 8th
well this week the only story i have is about the splits i went on with the zone leaders and it was actually on my birthday but this story is about the next day before we finished the
splits and we went to go tracting in the morning and then their bishop called and was like hey i need you guys to go open the chapel for some guy and we were like okay so we started mobing to the chapel and we call the other elders because we needed them too and they were pretty close and we turn on to this street and we see them like a block behind us and we just start walking to the chapel and theres like a group of guys that think they're all that and a bag of chips especially because they're in a group and they insult us and everything and my zone leader who only has like 3 weeks left in the mission who is one of my favorite people of all time just looks at them then looks at me and just says lets play soccer with them and i was like what okay and so we walk over and he just says to them hey my friend really wants to play soccer with you guys he's just this small bolivian and he thinks you guys arent very good and wants to play hes walking up they were like really? yes hes coming right now and then we see the other two missionaries walk up and see us and are like hey lets go talk to the other two missionaries and they walk up and the zl is like hey these guys talked a ton of trash on bolivia and says you guys cant play soccer and they were like freak lets play and so we play and absolutely destroyed them then when we were walking to the church we were a little late they were like hey if anyone asks we doing a service project and i said no if they ask we taught a lesson and they were like okay what lesson and i just said we taught humility and respect.
January 2nd
hey whats us blog post sorry i dont really much time this week to email or anything because we had to email on tuesday not monday because everything was closed and our bishop changed the password on the computer and the chapel and wont tell us what it us so all the missionaries here kinda got koofed by it but oh well new years was really nice we spent it at the house of a member! heres a pic from this week of FHE
December 25th
well this week was pretty crazy i didnt change areas so im still kicking it here in ferrocarril! which is really weird because everyone from my original zone is gone so its really weird going to district meeting or like zone activities and everything. my new comp is called elder espinoza hes from peru super cool guy! we had a service project one day with the district and then another one just the two of us at the house of our bishop which was cool! and then we had christmas which was fun we spent that at the house of a member which was also a ton of fun!!
December 11th
hey blog this week was pretty good played some more soccer i got a pic from that! We had a service project in the area of the sister missionaries from my district! we have some pics and a video of that too we were cleaning the walls because i guess the house caught on fire at some point and they wanted to repaint it and all! um this week while i was styding the scriptures in 2nd nephi chapter 7 the begining of the isiah chapters the first two services are super powerful and amazing. it has a line in it saying where's the bill of divorcement of your mother. just like how we cant divorce our mothers we cant divorce our father in heaven either! then in the same verse it says to whom have i sold you. i thought this verse was really powerful because heavenly father will not ever abandon us so as long as we keep our covenents and live his commandments he will always bless us and help us a ton! also this week as i was studying the atributes of chirst i learned that as we live the gospel of jesus christ we also develop the atributes of chirst and as we strive to be more like him we live his gospel automatically! the gospel is such an amazing thing guys i invite that you all (any one that reads this blog i mean) to give a book of mormon to someone who you think could benefit from it this christmas season! because the book of mormon is one of the greatest gifts our father ever gave us! i know with my whole heart that the book of mormon is 100% true and because the book is true everything else in this church must be true as well because the book of mormon truly is the key stone of our religion!! ps heres some pics from week thats me and my comp drinking mate and eating some asado!!
December 4th
what up blog dont really have much time just letting you know im alive we got on late because we had to go into the other mission for some bussiness and then we had an asado then also played some soccer were i kicked butt i ended my comps mission with one goal. i swiped the ball from this other elder and passed the other elder from argentina that was a professional soccer player before hand then kicked the ball and it went from between the legs of my comp bringing my comp down to the ground it was really cool!! but then later when i was in the goal my comp (whos a really really strong brasillian) kicked the ball as hard as he can and it nailed me right in the throat knocking my plack off but they did not score!! it was really intense
November 27th
what up blog! this week was crazy! i had two splits one with some people from my district and other with the zone leaders! on thanksgiving i was with an american comp instead of my brasilian comp and heres a video of that! and then saturday we had a super awesome baptism! she is this 11 year old girl whos dad went inactive and her moms not a member (parents are not together but her dad is married to a acitve member) we reactivated the dad and she moved in with her dad and we taught her and shes super awesome!!
November 20th
this week was crazy! maria laura (formally known as yanaina idk why but apparently her name is not yanaina) did not get baptized this week but shes getting baptized this saturday instead because her dad didnt think she was ready so were doing it at 5 so that we can play soccer at 7. This last week i played soccer like 3 times and did two service projects the first one was we built a new room for our ward mission leader after we tore down the wall we built another one it was a lot of fun!! and then the next day we had a service project in the home of the elders quorum president he's a major homie. Well i had a service project my comp didnt actually do anything because they needed me to weld and my comp doesnt know how to weld. Well no one else but me knew how either so it was just me welding it was really nice!!. The lord truly does prepare us. It was really awesome because they were like we need someone to weld this and i was like i can weld! and they were like what and my comp was like what how do you know how to weld (im usually kind of useless in service projects compared to super strong brasilian comp) and i was like i studied before my mission and they were like huh and then saturday morning we went over and i kicked butt welding and they were like fetch he really does know how to weld!
oh today i also went and had lunch with the ward mission leader of the other ward and he called me gringo every time he saw me at church or a service project (hes a huge homie super cool and nice) and we were eating this super bomb food and they were asking me about finland and he was like oh so youre not really a gringo then are you and i was like ehh more or less. then he was like hey gringo can you play chess and i was like i know the rules. So he busted out this chess set and i kicked his trash (it was actually really close) it was crazy fun my comp was my hype team the whole time jumping up and down and losing his mind every time i made a move or ate one of his homies. Also heres a pic of my trainer and his trainer as well (so my dad and my grandpa) at a multi mission conferense!

November 13th
well so this is transfer like 3 or 4 for me. i got my new comp on wednesday he's from brasil and he's a homie!! works super hard!! this last week we found the most new investigator we've ever found in one week and it was only like 3 days!! it was super awesome! saturday we went and played soccer with the ward and uh... well lets just say it was a different league from the keminmaan futaajat.... i literally when i blocked the ball with my foot it felt like i crashed my motorcycle and my longboard again at the same time.... i like could not walk after that but i made the final goal the that night and then afterward the elders quorum president was shining my shoe on his knee and then that was literally the only thing people talked about at church the next day! also so this week i was with the zone leaders for the first 3 days while i was waiting to get a comp and this is a pic of elde paulson at the house of incomplete family. (hes a pekka from clash royal)
November 7th
Okay what up homies! so its transfer week and its been a wild one! This week was just pretty chill at first we re started teaching this one family and Elder Christensen was able to say goodbye because we were pretty sure he was gonna leave because he has been in this area for 4 changes (like 6 months) and he just got training me so we had been saying goodbye to homies and stuff and everytime they were like hey just come say goodbye like one last time one monday or tuesday or sunday night and we'll do an asado (Uruguayo BBQ) and we were like sick dude for sure! and so we were getting super excited and then Saturday night were doing some comp study and President calls us and i talk to him for a little bit and he's like hey can i talk to elder christensen and i was like sure dude and Elder Christensen gets called to be the new secratery of the mission and he has to be packed and ready to leave at 3 pm sunday (the next day) so he had to pack like a mad man that night. Then after we got done eating lunch with the lawyer of the mission whos in the stake presidencia of this stake that i kick it in. The APs came and took him away and then i was in a trio with the 2 Peruvians that i live with for the day. The next day they took me to the house of my zone leaders and they're major homies! And we had to go to Tres Cruces (its a place) where i had to go sign some papers for my recidency here. then we came back went to a District Conference then went and worked for a bit then we went to go get the changes from their Email and we found out Elder Paulson (one of the ZL's that got to this zone the same day i did) is leaving and going to be ZL some where else and we were super sad. We also found out who my new comp is! He's name is Elder Souza from Brasil!! i meet him tomorrow at this like Multi mission conference its my mission and the other mission together. It's President Davies hes in the perciding Bishopbric that should be really fun! thats about it for me heres a pic of me and my new pet cat. Her name is Kitty Kush
Quick Funny story! I was with the Peruvians and we were talking with this like mom and her two kids and her sister and stuff like what ever and theres some dogs just like chillin and then out of absolutely no where theres this huge dog fight happening like in the circle that we were talking in and i have like no idea how the dogs got between us and this fight is intense like Hopeanuoli statues (if you dont know what hopeanuoli is stop reading this blog and got watch that and come back [not a sponser]) it was crazy and i was like dump this and jumped back the two peruvians just started curb stomping the dogs and then this like random guy who had like no front teeth that was tripping out on some hardcore kush just like ran out of a house in like .3 seconds and just picked up one of the dogs and just started punching this dog in the face like crazy and then like all dogs just dissapered and then the guy was gone and we were just back to talking again like nothing even happened and this whole thing lasted like 20 seconds. it was weird.
oh and heres some pics of me and my zone leaders at a service project! Elder Lockhart who trained my trainer is the one with the shovel.

October 23rd
alright so im gonna talk about some funny things that happened this week. First things first we have this super awesome member whos son were working with i've talked about him before his name is pable but the moms name is mercedes and shes awesome one day while we were having dinner at their house we were walking to the door and coco the crazy pitbull got lose and like charged at us and mercedes just like puts her mate on the ground and just like grabs coco and like picks him up and like throws him on the ground and drags him back to the chain and rechains him up. shes like 65. and then the other cool thing that happened this week was i started a war with the spiders of Uruguay we had a service project the other day and when we got home i took a shower and while i was walking a cross the bathroom to get my towel i walked past sink and i watched this silver dollar sized spider crawl out of the drain in the sink and i was like fight of flight mode engage! like hey dude this is y dojo so i i punched at him not hitting him thinking it would run away, but he charged at me and i was like okay mr spider lets dance! mano y mano so i throwing punches left and right (im unarmed and unclothed flipping old school style) and this spider is literally made out of lighting or something just dodging everything im thorwing at him but then i see an opening and i knick him in the leg and he starts to retreat but i threw down the gauntlet and he excepted this fight and this was a fight to the death and i wasnt going to let him come in to my dojo and walk away! so i charge up one final punch and i predict it and i sent my fist flying at the drain and my fist connected with its target like i was luke flipping skywalker dude no targeting system dude just fallowing the force (spirit) and i sent that spider on its way to the millenium the spider exploded and there were spider legs all over the sink. that was my week in a shell nut.
October 16th
okay guys this is whats up last week i typed up this huge blog post and i clicked the wrong button and instead of copying it i deleted it and didnt have the time or will power to re type it all :( it was a story of how we visited a family one sunday night to invite them to share the book of mormon with them and this 17 year old who thinks he's all that and a bag of chips was laughing and making fun of my comp when my comp was inviting him to read the book of mormon and i got really bugged by how he was not taking it seriously so then it was my turn and i invited his older bro to read the book and it was super powerful and my comp was like whoa thats new! and the whole family was like huh hes not useless after all it was super awesome. BUT something even more awesome happened this week. we were visting this one family were trying to reactivate (same family with the moonshine up nose story) and they had some less active family members and they're non member sister there as well and they were talking all normal and we were sharing some scripture and then some how everything got super heated amongst them and i wasnt sure what was going one because they were all talking super hast and one of them was crying because he found out my comp is leaving in a month. My comp just turns to me and tells me bare your testimony on how god loves all of his children and i was like you know what why not lets try this whole open your mouth and trust in the lord thing i keep hearing about. so i sit up a little taller and clear my throat and Fabian the one crying is like guys shut up the little one is gonna try and speak. So i say brothers and sisters i dont speak spanish very well and i dont really understand what you guys are talking about but i do know this God our heavenly father loves all of his children i know this because he gave us his only son that was perfect jesus christ and he suffered for US he never committed any sins but he's the one that had to pay the price for us. The things our saviour had to endure for us is inimaginable and it must have been so hard for our heavenly father to have to watch his only perfect son suffer because of us. The attonment of jesus christ is how i know heavenly father loves all of his kids. this truly is a gospel of love and perfection.
this is a pic of me and one of my favorite elders here named Elder Brasil from Brasil
