Hey guys! I don't really have a cool story to tell about this week or anything like that but I did go on changes with the zone leaders this week so that was fun so here's a picture of me and elder suxo! But I would like to share a scripture with you all (I know so tacky missionary stuff) and I try not make this blog be a basic missionary blog but I feel like I should share this thought and I've been just wondering or I guess waiting for the right time to share this. This scripture is in Alma 26 verse 6 and 7 it talks about a group of people that were extremely wicked and then they all were converted unto the lord and when they became converted unto the lord the joy they felt from that was so strong that "they did lay down the weapons of their rebellion"  so like this group of people were always going to war and just wasting each other and just being really wicked, so they repented and put their weapons of rebellion away, but that didn't just mean they put their weapons of war away, they put their weapons of rebellion against God away! What are weapons of rebellion against God? Sins, and specifically what I want to talk about today are sins that are more of a habit, and how bad those can be. They are bad for a mountain of reasons! One being that they are sins and basically all sins will hurt us, not just spiritually but physically and emotionally! So we know sins are really bad for us all around! But what if we don't care about our health - I don't know why you wouldn't, but let's say for some reason you like your weapons of rebellion more than your 3 forms of health- are there other reasons to lay down your weapons? YES! Do you have a family? If so, then LAY DOWN YOUR WEAPONS!! The people in this scripture are later called the Anti-Nefi-Lehis and they decided that they would rather be killed than to take up their weapons! Wow they had so much faith in the plan of salvation that they knew that it was better for them to die than to commit a sin because they loved their families and their lord more than they loved the temporal joys that come from living (now I'm not saying go die so you cant commit sins) but the dedication that they had to stay spiritually clean is very admirable! Now, why did they want to stay spiritually clean so badly? Because they want to be with their families more than they want to live, now if you have a family, especially little kids  PLEASE, PLEASE lay down your weapons of rebellion! I can not emphasize this enough! Because like I said earlier bad habits can be a really big "weapon" and habits are very contagious and little kids can pick up on those habits! So please if you don't care about yourself enough to lay down your weapons, lay them down for your kids! Because they are all you get to take with you to heaven! So, in conclusion, the cold hard truth is either your family or rebellion and let me say your sins won't be much comfort in eternity! Sorry if this seems I'm being kind of blunt and rude and maybe even aggressive I'm saying all of this with the most love possible because I know for a fact that this gospel is true and that our heavenly father loves us and wants to bless us but its not easy to bless us if we're rebelling against him!

January 22nd

well this week was pretty chill i was challenged to write about a miracle that happened this week! so here goes saturday night were playing fĂștbol and im easily the worst player once again and the elders quorum pres. the goalie of the other team (were huge homies) and this youth is the goalie of my team (damian) and im chilling there on offense like i do and damian and kicks the ball super hard toward the other goal (where i am) and i run across and jump and as im jumping past the goalie and the ball i see the ball and kick the ball (intentionally by the way) with the back of my calf and it goes past the goalie and the whole field lost there mind and then we quit about 6 minutes letter after the other team one but i had the craziest goal of the night and thats all the youth were talking about the next day at church and the elders quorum president after the match came up to me and was like hey man i thought we were friends why did you do that to me and when i made that goal he started yelling the like 2 sentences he learned on his mission in english which is are you kidding me? are you fetching kidding me and the other is are you serious which i know is like the same but he likes saying it! and then we also had this cool experience at church where this one less active who we've been reactivating brought a friend to church that we are now kinda teaching (he lives in a different zone but is always here one the weekends so we might start teaching him) and she also said that we need to baptize her daughter because she hasnt been baptized yet so that was really cool too! and then i also had to give pablo a blessing which i heard helped him a lot so that was really cool! i forgot my camera so no pics this week!

January 15th

this week was pretty chill we played some soccer and its super funny because my comp used to be a profesional soccer player in perĂș and but hes super humble and its crazy funny as were playing with like investigator or like the youth my comp is like playing and if were loosing and the "ref" is like okay 1 minute or like 2 minutes my comp just is like oh crap and just like will dribble the ball through everyone and just score in like 8 seconds so that we either like tie or just barely win... hes crazy good! also this week we got a refference from some other missionaries for this family from venezuela and they huge homies and have a ton of potential so please send some love to them in your prayers and speaking of prayers please pray for my companion this week! this week we also had interviews with our mission president and heres a pic that me and him snagged together and a picture from New Years so yeah thats about it!

January 8th

well this week the only story i have is about the splits i went on with the zone leaders and it was actually on my birthday but this story is about the next day before we finished the
splits and we went to go tracting in the morning and then their bishop called and was like hey i need you guys to go open the chapel for some guy and we were like okay so we started mobing to the chapel and we call the other elders because we needed them too and they were pretty close and we turn on to this street and we see them like a block behind us and we just start walking to the chapel and theres like a group of guys that think they're all that and a bag of chips especially because they're in a group and they insult us and everything and my zone leader who only has like 3 weeks left in the mission who is one of my favorite people of all time just looks at them then looks at me and just says lets play soccer with them and i was like what okay and so we walk over and he just says to them hey my friend really wants to play soccer with you guys he's just this small bolivian and he thinks you guys arent very good and wants to play hes walking up they were like really? yes hes coming right now and then we see the other two missionaries walk up and see us and are like hey lets go talk to the other two missionaries and they walk up and the zl is like hey these guys talked a ton of trash on bolivia and says you guys cant play soccer and they were like freak lets play and so we play and absolutely destroyed them then when we were walking to the church we were a little late they were like hey if anyone asks we doing a service project and i said no if they ask we taught a lesson and they were like okay what lesson and i just said we taught humility and respect.
